Advanced Teacher certification

Elevate your teaching skills with DEA’s Advanced Teacher Training Course—an online, video-based program designed to reinvigorate your expertise in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, or Acro. Led by the esteemed DEA faculty, these guided workshops provide an in-depth review of foundational techniques and culminate in an official DEA Teacher Certification.

To complete the program, participants submit a video teaching demonstration, evaluated on effective communication, clarity, age appropriateness, and professionalism. Teachers can instruct directly to the camera or to students in the room (student participation is optional). Videos must showcase a clear understanding of the material presented, be no longer than 15 minutes, and adhere to specific grading and upload guidelines provided upon registration.
