Originally from the Washington DC area, Karla Garcia was the Top 7 female dancer on season 5 of FOX's "So You Think You Can Dance." She is an NYU Tisch graduate with a BFA in dance and a minor in journalism. Her stage credits include the Broadway revival of West Side Story, the Broadway show Hot Feet, the national tours of Wicked and Addams Family, and the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. In 2010, she toured Australia and Paris as a female soloist for Rasta Thomas' Bad Boys of Dance company in Rock the Ballet. She has shared the stage with Jordin Sparks, The Roots, and Lonely Island. Recently, Karla has been a recurring dancer on this season of the NBC show "SMASH."
