Jason is a deeply passionate dance educator based in Los Angeles, CA. His eye for detail, masterful understanding of technique, innovative choreography and ability to extract organic, thoughtful performance continues to attract dancers form around the country to work with him. He holds a Master’s in Fine Arts Degree in Dance from Southern Methodist University which he attended on full artistic scholarship as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Musical Theatre from Elon University’s Professional Training Program. His choreographic accolades are numerous. They include recognition from Regional Dance America as well as many other dance competitions, conventions and organizations. His work has also been featured at the Anaheim International Dance Festival and International Ballet Festival Miami.
Jason continues to teach master classes around the country at conventions, studios, universities and high school dance festivals. His students are consistently accepted into elite summer and university dance programs on scholarship. As a performer Jason has been seen in over twenty regional theatrical productions including the Broadway National Tour of Kiss Me Kate. As a singer he has shared the stage with Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Jo-Dee Messina, Norm Lewis and David Foster. Jason is entering his third season as the Director of Burbank Dance Academy in Los Angeles and his 4th year as a member of the BFA Commercial Dance Faculty at Relativity School where he teaches contemporary, ballet and dance composition. He is a member of both the Screen Actors Guid, and Actors Equity Association.
